My specialty is couples in love, that’s no secret! And is there any couple MORE in love than the one about to welcome a baby? One look at Danisha and Josh’s RiNo maternity photos is enough to convince anybody there’s not.

These two have been building a beautiful life together for some time. After getting married in 2009 Danisha finished school for acupuncture. Josh worked hard in the energy industry to help grow their dream. Next Danisha opened her own practice in Denver, Altitude Acupuncture. I know first hand that having a partner who supports your dreams and believes in you makes all the difference when striking out as an entrepreneuer. Josh believes in Danisha’s gifts and ambitions in such a big way! They bought an adorable home in north Denver and filled it with so much love – most of which they spent on Mija the Schnauzer, who is totally worthy of adoration! And this year they got to decorate one of those love-brimming rooms as a nursery.

When Danisha and I started to plan their maternity session and discuss locations, I knew RiNo would totally match their casual, fun vibe. Nobody loves nature and green more than me, but sometimes the right spot for a couple is urban and vibrant colors! When she asked me about outfits and showed me this dress from Pink Blush Maternity she was considering, my response was “YES! That is so you!” Her converse sneakers were the final piece that totally captured her personality and personal style. The results were these beautiful and HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY photos that are totally faithful to who Josh and Danisha are. Their love, joy, and excitement just radiate from their faces and I feel so lucky to be a part of this time in their lives! Congratulations to you both; I can’t wait to meet baby Cohen!!
